Just in time for cosy season, our brand new issue has just landed at 91 HQ! In this edition we have centered the content around the word SOULFUL. For those of you who receive our emails, you’ll be aware of the difficult year I have had with the loss of both my parents in the space of a few months. My experiences during this time has provided me with a reminder of the importance of people in our lives, and also that we have to live life to the full, with authenticity and soul. Therefore, this theme felt very fitting, and the idea of living and working soulfully really spoke to me.
WHAT’S INSIDE?
For me, great interiors are those that clearly have the creator’s passion and personality behind them. Yes, of course, a strong sense of style and good design is hugely important, but at 91 we want to inspire you with homes that have a story, and where that story is evident through the images. There is a certain warmth and character to the homes and creative spaces featured in this issue, and we also touch on how to centre soul within your business as well as sharing some delicious food for the soul too!
WHOSE FEATURED?
We visit homes in London and LA, to the beaches of Camber Sands in Sussex and Gran Canaria, where each homeowner has created a home that is deeply special to them in one way or another. We also meet Caroline Strecker of Rag of Colts at her Somerset studio/shop, and discover three venues that double up as both a cafe and lifestyle store. We also hear the story of how Aswarby Rectory is not only a beautiful wedding venue but also a home for a young family, while Karone Pack Lum shows us around what was once a Post Office delivery office, and is now her stylish home as well as a studio for her jewellery business.
I hope this issue encourages you to have some time to yourself soaking up the creative stories and visual inspiration. It’s been a total joy to put together! 🙂
