Volume 12 published around seven weeks ago and if you’ve already got your copy, we hope you’ll agree it is a lovely issue. It has some of my all time favourite spaces in there – from a stunning French chateau to a light and airy home and studio in Australia to a laid back Bali-inspired London cafe – there is some serious interior inspiration to be had, along with uplifting stories from creatives and small business owners. It was a great edition to put together and as always, it was tough editing down the photos that we could fit onto the pages, so here we have a peek at some of the extra shots that didn’t make it into the magazine, but deserve to be seen!

If i could move into this light and airy French chateau tomorrow, I would! A stunning mix of vintage and modern it is a perfect example of how to restore a beautiful old property, while putting a contemporary twist on it, that feels inviting and homely. I just love it.

This is another home I’d happily move straight into (although to be fair, that’s probably the case with most of the homes we feature!) The vibe is relaxed and homespun, perfect for the family of four that lives here. Their business that they run from their home and studio and the story of their personal journey is hugely inspiring. The magazine feature is well worth a read and not just a scan of the images. 🙂

What I love about this issue is how the theme of ‘pre-loved’ has demonstrated the various different styles and aesthetics you can create in your interior with vintage and pre-loved furniture and objects. The two homes above both have a very different look and feel, but both equally as beautiful. There is something for every taste when you decorate your home in this way.

Above, a home and a studio space demonstrate how to work the monochrome look in a relaxed, rustic way. Raw wood, natural materials, dried flowers and plants and vintage finds all add character to the spaces, against a calming backdrop of black and white.

The spaces that people create for their businesses, whether that is a shop or a studio, can be hugely inspirational and why we love to feature so many. These people know how to put things together like colours and objects, but also they often have creative solutions to display dilemmas for example, so I love seeing how their spaces are designed.

For me, a cafe or coffee shop is not complete without a dreamy interior – a coffee pit stop with a slice of design inspiration! This space transports you to a sunny holiday abroad with it’s Bali-inspired style – rattan furniture, rustic wood and cosy cushions create the perfect setting for a moment or two of relaxation.
