The all new 91 Magazine!

Save & share

Well hello there, and welcome to the brand new 91 Magazine website and blog! It’s been a long time coming after I took a year out from publishing while I wrote my book. I wanted the magazine to come back with a bang, so I’ve been beavering away for the last few months in a bid to make everything new, fresh and as inspiring as ever!

So what exactly is new? Obviously the website has been redesigned as well as our logo, and we have a new strap line – inspired homes, lives and loves. We will still be featuring the same type of content in the magazine, with lots of new features too and we hope that every page will inspire the space that surrounds you, the life that you’ve created and the things that you love. The magazine will now be published biannually instead of quarterly, but possibly the most exciting piece of news is that we hope to put the magazine into print, which you will be able to preorder soon.

With there being larger gaps between issues, we will be keeping you inspired with regular blog posts here too, and you can keep in touch via Instagram, our new Facebook page and Twitter. Our mailing list subscribers will be in for extra little treats too, so why not sign yourself up?!

One of the biggest struggles for me with recommencing publishing was the lack of time I now have. Being a mum really is the busiest of all the jobs! So, I decided if I was going to be able to produce the magazine, I needed help. My first step was to bring on a deputy editor and I’m now super excited to share with you who that is! Below is a pic of me during our first ever editorial meeting at Nordic Bakery in London.

Laura Pashby is a freelance writer and lifestyle photographer. She blogs at Circle of Pine Trees and shares daily stories on Instagram as @circleofpines. I’m pleased to announce she is now also 91 Magazine’s deputy editor! Laura and I have known each other for a while, mainly through social media, but we’ve meet occasionally at events and Laura has also been a 91 Mag contributor in the past. It is SO great to have someone on board who is full of ideas and enthusiasm and I am really chuffed to be working with her.

As well as Laura, we have a new designer – Lucy Davidson from Peas and Needles blog, also a previous 91 Mag contributor who is amazingly talented with design and graphics. We have a new sub editor – Kath Webber – writer and crochet extraordinaire, who has 10 years experience in the magazine industry. Also joining us is Olivia Williams, who runs The Birdhouse, who will be our brand and advertising manager. As well as all of these lovely new folk, Hannah Bishop and Gillian McKenzie who have both been part of the team for some time will continue to work as our proof readers.

With this great team, as well as an amazing bunch of contributors, I am really excited about what we will do with 91 Magazine this year, I hope you will join us on the journey!
