Last Saturday we had the pleasure of being part of the first of a very lovely event in North London. It was run by Rebecca , Sally and Beth in partnership with Plum and Ashby. When Rebecca first asked me months back to be involved I was unsure, only because I didn’t know if I’d have any of our SS17 issue left, and when I did decide to go ahead I had about 70 in stock, but by the week of the event I was down to 35!

I went ahead and travelled to north London with this little basket of magazines, a few ‘seconds’ of our previous issue and the gorgeous Karolin Schnoor prints (which you can still buy on the website BTW) I’m SO glad I did, as this was one of the loveliest events I’ve ever been to. The ladies had done an amazing job of organising it all, and they had curated a fabulous selection of sellers. I spent most of the time manning my stall but itching to go shopping!

There was the perfect balance between vintage and contemporary homewares for sale, as well as some beautiful jewellery from Drift (my stall neighbour for the day!). There was a styling workshop going on upstairs and outside there was a prosecco bar and sweet treats to indulge in!

I loved that I knew quite a few of the sellers via social media and finally got to meet them in person, but also that there were some brands who I’d never heard of before, so I got to discover their gorgeous products. I think there were around 25 sellers there on the day so I haven’t been able to include everyone here, but I urge you to check out these gorgeous shops (I’ve linked to everyone’s IG accounts to you can follow them and proceed to their websites if you wish) Also, make sure to follow Occasional Home Store on Instagram so you can find out when their next event might happen.
